Papa Bob's Pet Sitting Service is owned and operated by Papa Bob.  But who is Papa Bob?

"Papa Bob" is Bob Williams, an active grandfather ("Papa") and retired military veteran who enjoys family and animals alike.

In 2001, Papa Bob retired from over thirty years of working on the corporate side of the grocery industry.  Still healthy and active, Bob sought his true passion and love in life: The care of animals.  Bob then devoted his free time to the Homeward Bound Golden Retriever Rescue Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue and adoption of abandoned Golden Retrievers.  Two of Bob's own three dogs are "rescue dogs" adopted from the Homeward Bound foundation.

Because of Bob's renowned love and care of animals, he had been asked many times by associates at Homeward Bound as well as by neighbors and friends to care for their pets while they were gone on vacation or working late.  It was during this period that Bob saw a need for a pet sitting service.  He then attained the bonding, licensing, and insurance required for such a business and launched "Papa Bob's Pet Sitting Service" in the Summer of 2002.

Papa Bob does not think of Papa Bob's Pet Sitting Service as a business but rather as a lifelong passion.  The company's service mark "We treat your pets like our own" sm should actually read: "We treat your pets better than family" because that is what Papa Bob does.  Papa Bob loves animals.  And they love him.
